Leon Blood is a breeder out of the EU. This is one of his Freakshow offerings that should thrive both indoor and out. Despite its large size, FreakOut is discreet, productive and resilient, making it the ideal strain for growers who rely on sunshine for their annual supply.

 To create FreakOut:

A male Freakshow was selected for its rapid flowering time. Its pollen was used to fertilize a Serious 6 female and a Purple Satellite female. These two F1 hybrids were crossed to create FreakOut.

Serious 6 is a classic for outdoor cultivation in Northern Europe. Its super-fast flowering time ends in mid-September. Even above 50° North latitude, it will reach maturity before the end of summer. It is also known for its pink flowers, although this is actually a minority and relatively rare phenotype.

Purple Satellite is a cross between Oaxacan Gold and a pure Nepalese narrow leaf variety. It's one of the fastest-flowering narrow leaf varieties for northern latitudes. The plants develop dark pink pistils and purple flowers.

FreakOut has inherited exceptional mold resistance from its parents, allowing it to thrive in the cold and damp of the northern autumn. Its large, fern-like leaves give it an ornamental appearance and ensure discreet growth.

Flowering begins in mid-August and lasts 8 to 9 weeks. It will be ready for harvest by mid-October at the latest, two weeks earlier than its Californian ancestor.

In terms of aroma and fragrance, Purple Satellite takes the lead with notes of cherry, berries, and incense. FreakOut's tropical aroma has disappeared, replaced by a subtle yet persistent herbal/spice blend.

Like most Freaks, the buds are relatively airy, especially when grown outdoors. The impressive size of FreakOut plants will compensate for this. Although relatively slow in the first half of spring, FreakOut's growth is truly impressive between May and July.

Expect a massive harvest and an enchanting aroma that will quickly make you forget its lack of "bag appeal", while also making it ideal for extraction. At the end of flowering, even the broad leaves are covered in sparkling crystals.
